I had the bright idea of ordering Eggplant Stir-fry from the Thai restaurant near us. I told them mild, no gluten and no beef cross contamination. Well it was delicious but still pretty dang hot and the chili sent my stomach into full tilt. I am much better today. Still a bit wobbly, it just takes so much out of me. There may have been some cross contamination? It is nearly impossible to eat food I do not prepare myself.
Ms. MOG made me some carrot cake cupcakes the other night. She was tired and added 1/2 the oil and needed to get a new bottle out of the pantry. When she came back in she forgot she already added half and proceeded to add the full amount. They did not rise and would not come out of the tins. The crispy edges were amazing so I just put them in a bowl and topped with the cream goat cheese maple flavored frosting. It was delicious but she would not let me take any pictures. I am going to see if I can make some cake pops out of it.
You have to include the time at the clinic and the price of the penicillin with your bargain basement kinda date.
We sautéed some chicken breast to add to the Eggplant Stir Fry, it didn't cool the chili down any. It was absolutely delicious but not worth the misery all night.
Slept in late then had a mushroom and $M Velveeta omelet and toast with a few blueberries, the espresso was very good. The GF sourdough bread is from the bakery.
These guys are sure making themselves at home! Starting to get old because it’s now to the point where they try and run in the house every time someone goes in or out! The bigger one is actually made it in a couple times and just before I got this pic that proceeded to jump in the front seat of my car while the door was open!
