You know..after 15 years of being on site almost every single day....this is starting to really piss me off......I walk in ...site starts hanging buffering..I walk out and read the newspapers instead...coz I know the first hour here is gonna be frustrating.

How long now...?...3 months and no fix.......not good business...

I don't think they have the technical skills to fix it, I think the real coders have moved on, or worse yet they simply do not care.

I'm pulling the trigger on Discourse. I don't know exactly what that means yet in terms of timeline, but I'm going to do my best to be realistic and accommodating for when and where I can.

Just paid for a month of Discourse for the current plan we were testing on the free trial. I am going to be encouraging everyone to start spending some time familiarizing themselves with it as we go, and hopefully this is for the best.

Actually, I know this is for the best. I have thought long and hard about this (one of the more stressful decisions I've had to make in awhile in fact.) It's going to be some work to get this done. And it's not gonna be cheap initially if we want to transfer content from one platform to the next.

One day at a time. Appreciate you all being here and part of this.

@Son of Hobbes Get a $ figure and lets start a fund drive. I know how much my data is worth to me! I bet most member value their data as well!
