I’m sticking with this method of organics…..

And they move is to top dress with mosquito bits first thing. I leave a clear circle around the seeds I sow….but this takes care of any issues before they arise

I used mossy bits, lots of them. Total failure on the first attempt, there were so many of the things in the soil mix that they killed seedlings in a few days. I dug one of the failing seedlings up to see what was up, and the little roots were surrounded by larvae. Mossy bits dissolved in irrigation water kept a lid on the buggers the second time, but I am not going back. Coco seems to fit my personality better. Different strokes eh, there are a lot of ways to grow weed, the key is to learn one of them. One of these days, I may get there.

If u have live fungus gnats in the soil u can also soak mosquito bits in water for couple hours and then water it in so it’s active immediately vs over time like just topdressing the bits! In case u wanna just pop down to Home Depot vs ordering something!
