@Frankthetank The California coast is too expensive but if you got a nice little place at about 3000' elevation on the eastern sierras it might not be too expensive, maybe buy the land and build a container house you can add to as time goes by?

Truth be told, I’ve identified both Buffalo and Rochester as places that would work for me…along with a few other places.

I’m really trying to stick it out here, to tell you the truth. Although it also doesn’t make sense to break the law, if something is legal somewhere else. So I’m keeping my options open, and hoping to stay….but getting some ideas of viable places, just in case. That way I don’t have to make a fast decision….

I’m don’t think they’ll be successful in what they’re trying to do….but they are getting rather vocal on the issue, and trying to gain momentum.

I found some affordable places in the woods up around garberville, and the surrounding areas. People seem pretty shady, but so do I…I suppose

The sierras do sound intriguing…I miss living in the mountains.

Well no need to pull a jack move today! Stopped at the local Shell gas station that still sells geekbar vapes and grabbed one last night! Normally while standing in line just to be safe i scratch off the verification sticker amd check it on their website to verify its legit! Never had an issue but bought one last night and the QR code sticker felt weird compared to usual and the code said it was no good (plus was 10 digits not usual 12) so went back into the store and dude was a douche about trading it and said i needed to come back today to talk to the boss! Luckily they were cool this morning and let me swap it cuz otherwise if they said no was just gonna leave the box on the counter and grab a different flavor and walk out! Seen as they aren’t supposed to sell that brand anymore didn’t figure they would wanna call the coppers but seen as they let me swap it that was avoided!

The area where the code is has the same type of scratch off like a lottery ticket does but one last night was almost like u just rubbed it with your finger to reveal it with no fingernail required! Need to grab another of the same flavor as last night and scratch it off in line to see if it was an issue with the sticker not revealing the entire number or if it was indeed counterfeit! Seems weird since they have all been legit since then!

Not accusing but gas stations are a common way of selling counterfeit stuff.

I think you'd like the north country or the finger lakes region but even that has a lot of city folks. I'm an hour from roch and that's close enough for me

That whole big area from basically buffalo to almost Syracuse, and to the finger lakes was what I was checking out…. Any of that would work.

I’m trying to decide on setting too (city vs country/rural)….

This bs been all over the news here today….

Not to mention…. I was looking at mmj news from around the country…. This seems to be a bigger trend…. Several states have or are challenging the voter approved mmj law. So I’m really trying to be selective in where I’m looking.
