Mornin friend! What the heck delicious thing are you making here? Got a recipe or general direction?
Just take a cuppa your favorite enhanced tea… and add canna coconut oil to the hot brewed tea, then add frothed milk to make it a tea latte…. Sweetener optional…

This is my favorite tea place
(Good coffee too)

The enhanced teas make the best lattes imo. The blueberry hill is amazing, French breakfast if you like floral, the candy cane was a limited edition…

The appearance, layout, and finding thing is the #1 complaint I've always gotten about this forum. We are "old school", even by forum standards.

I think we can have our cake and eat it too on this one.

And I agree with you, I think we're going to pull in more members using Discourse versus our current (Xenforo.)
Did you warn these new people about us? Were an odd bunch….Dragons, Tigers…Stony horticultural obsessives….. dab enthusiasts…. Old rockers that still have a poster of Tawny Kitaen above their beds…stoned cookbook authors….. Mark. Don’t forget to warn them about Mark….

Maybe leave out Wumbo for now, though

Good morfnoevight all you happy Caturday (Thanks Mum) stoners.

I have spent a lot of time sleeping with this cold :wtf: and wake up in a new day when it is still the same day :crying::crying::crying:

:pighug: Caturday..in the morning for you.

It gets me like that with the days over an extended holiday too......hey...I smoke good dope......:pass:...

What I was checking on the glucose for the other day wasn't to cheat the doctor.. it's to cheat hubby.....if I can make some dietary changes without him thinking about it..I will. I try to balance out his bad habits with diet..

His mother's pancreas packed in completely when she was in her late 90's...but she hadn't drank like a fish for 60 years..she was talking something like 27 pills a day to replace her pancreas function...:headbang:..so I've got an idea where we are headed...and if I can delay that for a few years..I will...:yeah:...

@PinkyNotTheBrain mentioned cinnamon and that's one I can add in..coz I always sprinkle it on melon anyway..he likes it..

And the other I have spotted is green juicing..now I would do that..but I ain't gotta hope of getting hubby to...:tonic:..

But I can swap white cabbage for spring greens...so that's the kind of changes I mean....chief cook....:chef:..
Green juicing? do you mean smoothies? if so don't do it. I tried that for a short time, both the simple and complex carbohydrates become nearly instantly available and my blood sugar would go through the roof like 300+ within 15 minutes and last an hour or more. I know you love your taties but they are enemy number 1, bread, pasta and processed rice are all a problem in long term control. Whole grain brown rice is 50% better than white , Sweet Potatoes 25% better than potatoes, Whole Grain Sourdough bread about 20% better than white bread, quinoa pasta is about 10% better than regular pasta, but still all of them are a problem. It is impossible for me to live without all of these because I love all of them. Always eat some protein with carbs helps slow the digestion and gives a smaller BS spike.

Taking small amounts of insulin will prolong the life of his pancreas.

I am just learning how to use this Freestyle Libre 3 continuous blood sugar monitor. It is an amazing tool. It is not as expensive as I thought it would be. No more finger sticks :yay: and no more guess work. The sensors are expensive if not covered by insurance, but you should be able to learn what you need to know in a few months. Then just use one when things are out of whack. I will be able to eat a specific serving of something and watch exactly what it does to my BS level. Knowledge is power! I checked and it is available in Spain.

@Son of Hobbes I am using WordPress to host my website and the service has been rock solid.

I don't know how I missed a day? I slice a single GF English Muffin into 4 slices and use only 2 for my sandwich, This lowers the complex carbs in a meal and the quality of the sandwich barley changes! Turkey bacon and egg sanny. Zoodles and half an apple. Great espresso.

I slice a piece of the GF sourdough white bread in half ( It takes practice) to lower carbs for this turkey sanny, my pepperoncini are so good, frozen artichoke hearts add lots of fiber and other good stuff.

Ps. eating earlier in the evening helps not going to bed with high BS levels.

The Market got the center cut bacon back in stock. Grilling it works great. Then it is ready when you want it and the flavor is tops.

Bacon Cheese Burger (M$ Velveeta) with Duck fat added crinkle cut fries. Wow fantastic! I have a jar of duck fat left over from Christmas brunch, so I thought I would add a little to the frozen fries before cooking them in the air fryer. I used less than a teaspoon and yes I used 3 units of insulin for the tatties in this meal. You can see how thin my bread is compared to Ms. MOG's

This morning's breakfast Prager's Crunchy Southwestern patty, bacon, M$ pepper jack cheese omelet, kale and great espresso. no insulin needed.
