Good morfnoevight all you happy TGIF stoners.
Last night when the outside temperature dropped to 39°F with 90% RH my mini split system stopped indoors with a df code showing on the face of all the indoor air handlers. I freaked for a minute until I looked up the code which is so obvious yet I have never seen it. Defrost mode, it turns out that the outdoor compressor coils can ice up under certain conditions, so the system stops working as a heat pump reverses and works like an AC unit with the indoor fans off. This melts the ice off the outdoor unit in just a couple of minutes and then it goes back to heating. It is working as designed. I am going to clean the outdoor coils today. They are not very dirty but any dirt can be a place for ice to form more easily. It is really cold here at 36°F last night. The heat pump system used about 9kWh from midnight to 9am, that is only about 2-3kWh more than when the night time temps run in the mid 40s - low 50s not bad for sure.

I am a big baby when I am sick but I know better than to get on Ms. MOGs nerves and even if she gave me whatever I am careful not to dwell on it.View attachment 1775387
Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time on the patio with these little beauties...the sun is shining...and it feels like 10C warmer than yesterday......and the #MoanDrone is on full flow indoors...
...2 nights interrupted sleep..and the constant coughing I know it's not going to be good..but he takes advantage..
...
He's moaning about the smoke..low sun.you can see it swirling..but after 30 odd years together.. obviously that argument is futile...just an excuse to get an argument in....
So his last play is..if I get cancer it's down to you...
(not down to the 40 years he smoked..or the cannabis he still smokes..)..
So I says..fuck off..you are 83 years old..you gotta die of summat......
I'll be on the patio then......and he'll realise the error of his ways when food and drink don't land in his lap all day..as usual...
..
Services withdrawn.....
If nowt else I'll get to spend a couple of hours with the girls..and he'll make himself some toast.....
Pictures needed for sure, Take them in normal daylight with the grow lights off. Use a flash or 5000K light bulb for the best color rendition.Heyo my plant is a bit stuggeling.
~ 1 Month old
She wasn growing in the first 3 weeks above a 5cm little plant, but in the last days she s exploding. 2 Leafs are a bit ligther in the middle is she ill?
Anu is nearly impossible to spot if she has her white feet tucked under her in the garden.Of all the wildlife I come across, the hardest to find and picture is the elusive kitty cat.

You all wish you had my Soup-n-Sandwich dinner last night! Grilled Ham, $M Velveeta with homemade pepperoncini and second day Chicken Bone Broth soup.
Breakfast this morning Prager's Crunchy Southwestern sweet potato patty, chicken sausage patty with an egg poached in fresh tomato with a Hashbrown patty and a little duck fat, fresh pineapple. Of course a good espresso, the India Malabar/Ethiopia blend is roasted nearly to Vienna and is only one day off the roast. It is quite bright and needs a few more days to off gas.
