Free tree...?....:pass:..they self seed here..and we rip them out as soon as we notice them germinate.

They are absolutely vicious...saw blade stems and spikey leaves. If you don't get them out small..you get ripped to bits.

Gotta be over 100 euros worth of plant there..for the picking..and I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.....

Gus inspecting the plot next door...:pass:..I'm waiting for the tree hugger that bought the plot to put it back up for sale... she's obviously realised how much work it would take.

We watched the previous couple next door work..hard work that plot..weed it.. membrane.. gravel and plant the plot....and ...all that work was for nowt huh...?...:pass:...

Meals are better out with friends than enjoyed at home alone.

So is Bougainville..the prettiest razor wire you can buy...nothing could get through a Bougainville hedge without a chainsaw....:headbang:

Looks like some tpye of Palm tree, they have really sharp fronds.

Hmm, Needle Palm shold be able to grow here.

Yup..for definite..and it's got to be relatively hardy..our winter has been cold this year..plus.. untouched by human hand.
