I bucked the first 2 Orange Assault x Peanut Butter Breath fast photos by Healing Path Genetics last night. Very sticky and resulted in some nice finger hash. It's only been drying a couple of days in a <30% RH environment at 78°F so not cured at all. I believe @tobe bred it for controlling pain and for the orange flavor. I'm not very good at flavors, but the flavor profile is strong enough that it tastes good completely un-cured, and that tiny bowl has me floating around all discombobulated. I think I need some hammock time.

Review: SoloPipe Elektra. (on special it's $79)
I got it for smoking hash. It comes with that tiny glass bowl for concentrates (left foreground). But it doesn't really get hot enough for hash. When you push the button it heats for 10 seconds and shuts off. After 5 heat cycles the hash just starts to smoke. It never got hot enough for a good hit, just little wisps of vapor. I didn't try it with rosin yet. It is fine for flower (without the little glass bowl). It has plenty of energy for that, because the heating element just has to get it burning. It doesn't burn like a regular pipe because the bud sits on the heating element and burns from the bottom (as opposed to a regular pipe that you light from the top). Bud tastes good in it, and it can burn bud that's only been drying a couple of days. Its a nice design for portability, there's a sliding cover to keep your stash in the bowl in a pocket. I'll be using it for bud only. I will contact the company to see if they will be making one with a bigger battery, longer heat cycle, and hotter element. I'm still looking for a portable electric hash pipe. This was almost it, just needs v.2.

Here’s a question for all those that use a tent humidifier in your grow…..

…..how often do you clean them?

:pass:

If you treat your machine right you would only have to wipe it down between grows. Ultrasonics are much easier to keep clean. They also put out more humidity and can raise the RH a lot better than the wicking filter style. The wick is just a towel and fan style unit and the filter/wick gets funky. The ultrasonics you have to use RO or distilled water or you get white dust on everything from vaporizing the minerals generally found in tap water.

I think almost all of them are ultrasonics now. Just find one with a mechanical on/off switch and you can let it control itself with an inkbird power strip humidity device. Yeah, extra $$ but lasts and you get easy maintenance.

After that, you can add these in tank bacterial inhibitors. I've seen them on the shelf at target in the humidifier section.

But yeah, you should get one. I think. Especially if you already have an RO unit. If not you will end up buying several jugs of distilled water from the store.
