@Mike20132 hey man I'm not trying to upset you. I just don't see the uproar with some of the AI assistance. I'm currently testing a new hosted version of Discourse (no paywalls) with an uploaded version of what exists right now. There is actually no AI stuff setup at all from what I can tell. That doesn't mean I don't want that for the site. But just an FYI.

Was that an intentional pun? :crying:

$160 for 2 oz mushies shipped is a good price, yes? It's from someone I trust, just checking prices. lol
As long as you trust the person i would say yes but i haven’t bought any in a while! My bro in law ordered some from his telegram weed plug and got chocolate bars many times but also fresh ones! Some were bomb but the last bluey vuitton’s i got from him were mad potent but weren’t dried properly so were a tad more chewy than they shoulda been (i could overlook that) but they wound up growing mold inside them they were so under dried so tossed em! Still had 2 huge caps in my bag too but i was too nervous to eat those even though they were separate from the stalks and much more crunchy but assumed cross contamination was happening regardless!

Moral of the story….refer to point A above! Rest was me babbling cuz i am fuggin ripped!:eyebrows::crying::lildab:

I have been a network engineer for going on 30 years. I used to run a home-grown BBS in the days before Arpanet became Internet.

I mention this because we had "AI" like things then, too. They just were not able to process the vast amounts of data that today's "AI" can.

AI is essentially a massive "IF THEN/ELSE" type conditions, to put it simply. It is not intelligence. Not even in the most generous of terms.

The concern I have is that someone will ask it a question on the AFN site and get a useless (and perhaps dangerous) response.

Just saying you should not assume AI is worth dogshit - because it really isn't. Were it my site, I would take pride in not falling for the bullshit hype.

Again, your call.

Well. Let me ask you this? I'm new to Discourse and what it offers. I would honestly love to pick your brain on some of this stuff some night, if that would be of potential? Maybe there's a way to train some of the AI? I've done some rough searches just in the meantime, and there does seem to be some possibility there.

I don't want to push your concerns aside. At the very least lets hear them out. Is that fair?

If you want AI out of your life, look at a browser called Vivaldi. It has become my go to.
