I ran the Purple Strawberry Popesicle through the screens yesterday. I started at 7am to take advantage of the cooler temps. Long story short I started with flower at 50% humidity with 58% in the garage. I had to run a space heater in a bedroom to dry it to 40%. I then had to put it in the freezer to get it down to the 40’s. It was a hustle and all day ordeal but turned out good.
I got a 7% return overall.
Wrapped and stored in vacuumed glass. I’m storing all balls in my mini fridge.

I also think we should not fear AI. We should, instead, make sure everyone knows AI is just regurgitating what it believes the answer is based on the popularity of the answer in its "language model."@Mike20132 I learned to program on a Univac 9100, with 4K of ferric oxide ring memory in 1970 at ECPI - Electronic Computer Programming Institute. One of the basic tenants we learned then that applies today is, GIGO garbage in garbage out. I spent 40 years in IT and that rule has never been less important than now in the AI age. I am confident that if AI scanned only AFN for an answer to a grow question there is a good chance the information would be in error. AFN is not infallible now and never has been. A human being that has no knowledge of farming is just as likely to get some bad information searching here without AI as with AI. In the new site AI might be able to pick up that bad information before it gets disseminated?
A large amount of "information" posted here on AFN is just plain wrong- so much so that members who really know what they are talking about stopped sharing because battling with idiots gets you no where. I am not just talking about doing something different that works. Lord knows there are many many ways to grow cannabis that will get you to a good harvest. Case in point is Cal-mag. Years ago it was the cure for everything when in reality it was the cause of so many problems. I would wager that there are still some folks on here that recommend adding Cal Mag when the real culprit is to much N.
I understand your point of view, in fact I share it on many levels. I am retired and I enjoy being retired - well except for my bookI don't think we need to fear AI, I think we need to learn how to make it work better for us.
This alone should tell everyone what they need to know. AI is easily "gamed." This has been demonstrated unintentionally for some time now.
People are taking AI results as gospel. To the point that some people have died. This reflects the common misconception that AI can determine the factuality of what it spits out. That alone, for me, is reason enough not to offer it as a source of information in any regard when the source for the language model is uncontrolled.
AI works best where all the data it filters through is factual. When it comes to AFN, it is easier to determine what is factual when you can associate a name with the provided information with the ability to compare and contrast answers and determine the best result. With AI, none of that process is visible and the selection of the correct answer is more a popularity contest than factual determination.
A good use for AI is in radiological diagnosis, and even then only when used to verify the findings of a human radiologist. This holds true for many areas of science where (and this is the important part) it is safe to assume all the data the AI is working with is already factual and accurate.

I use AI daily for work. I primarily use it for formatting. I also use it for deep dives into research papers for cannabis.
