For what its worth my 3x3 mars hydro (fc3000) 300w bar light worked like a champ on 24 hours a day for almost 3 years. It still worked but I sold it when I moved.

I won an FCE-8000 and its what is crammed into my 4x4 currently! Definitely gets the job done! If you got the skills building a light is an option but can usually buy 1 cheaper! Just seem to get higher quality stuff tho if u build it yourself and you can choose strips suited to your style whether its a mix of 3500 and 6000k for your white diodes or with red diodes added or UV! Tons of options and then u can pick your driver once you know which one u need! Main expense was actually buying pre cut aluminum for building the frame for it! Plus without a drill press u need to pay to have the holes tapped for mounting the strips! Unfortunately the light i built still had 3 years warranty on the strips buy the company that made these 1 specific strips went outta business!

I’m stoned driver had warranty and not the strips! Problem was buying strips with a frame custom made for them so needed to replace with exact same strips so could reuse everything else but they were no longer available!
