Well the Honda is finally fixed from where my mom cracked the oil pan! Talk about a PITA! Had to remove half the exhaust pipe and disconnect the front of the subframe in order to make room to get the old pan out and the new one in! Tried to avoid disconnecting that but realized there was no way we were getting the new pan in place without messing up the silicone gasket sealant on it so had to be done! All finished up and also changed the valve cover and gasket cuz the plastic cover was warped so blew out the whole front of the gasket we replaced less than a year ago and was leaking oil! All good now! Luckily didn’t fuck the motor up since my mom cracked the pan and proceeded to drive about 3 miles to where she parked it when someone noticed the lake of oil under the car! Was praying she hadn’t lost so much oil on the way over that the rods were knocking or something!

Definitely not man it was a huge crack that ran in 2 directions! Along the bottom and up the side of the pan she smashed it so hard! And the amount of work to get that pan off to be able to see the entire crack was so f-ing difficult that it was worth the $200 to just put a brand new pan on it! Not to mention it had the drain plug threads over tightened at one point to where it was leaking around the drain plug so had to retap the hole and go up a size in drain plug bolt and the bolt it took needed a new fabric gasket each time we changed the oil and it was $6 for a multipack that contained the right one and the other 5 went in the trash! And all the sizes were like M6 M6.2 and not just a numerical order them where i could pick out the # that went to the next to biggest washer that fit the drain plug so i could order them in bulk!

Mom was turning into a parking lot and didn’t realize where she was going that one side of the driveway had a skinny ass median running up the side and she turned to soon and hopped the median with the front tires and came down right on the oil pan and smashed it! Cracked so bad in the 90 min she was in the grocery store the car had lost like 90% of its oil in the parking lot just from seeping out the crack! She is doing more markets this year so she can just sell the Honda for a small suv cuz she is so short that in order to reach the pedals in this car it puts her sitting so low she can’t see over the hood directly in front of car can only see a ways up the road!

The surprise crop is a field full of Coriander......you wouldn't imagine Coriander grown in a field..or the fact it is hardy enough to take the unusual high wind/cold we've just been through...hardier than I thought.....
