naaaw, dress and glasses are basic necessities...

I'm terrible for new clothes..or good..if you prefer low maintenance and cheap to run.. ...I blame years of wearing a uniform to work..
As long as it's clean I'll wear it until it drops off me back.....
Last year I gave up a summer dress that I bought on my first foreign holiday with hubby..so it was over 30 years old...and I was Gutted...I nearly got it back out the bin..... that's the one he's just replaced..I just haven't mentioned it...yet....
So I swore I wasn't buying new clothes when I lost weight...Id just buy a belt... ... practical girl..

Then I saw Temu......and I'm having to buy new coat hangers...but...with Temu..I could completely fill my wardrobe including shoes.. underwear..shorts..and tops for under 200 euros..and hubby is actually pleased I'm buying new stuff...coz he's sick of looking at the same two blue shirts I've worn for the last 6 years.....must admit..so am I...

Most women would spend more than that on a pair of shoes or a handbag...

And that's me handbag.. driving licence..health card..200 euros incase hubby forgets his card....4 joints and a lighter..Think how much I save on them alone....ultra low maintenance...

While I'm on a roll and it's still pissing down...

.. I'm wearing 20 year old Levi's that I grabbed from a Spanish second hand shop..for 6 euros..
I saw the Levi tag..pale blue.501...button fly..that was the only jeans hubby would wear at the time...and they looked his size..so I grabbed them..
6 euros..and a new pair would be 50-70 euros... Bargain..... what I didn't clock was the button fly fastened on the women side.....so they became my jeans.
I only hung on to them coz they were Levis..vintage..I didn't expect to get back in them....ever.

Also..my first ever combat trousers...I bought them for the beach walks when we got here..so I could carry all the dog walk stuff in me pockets.. ditto age.. ditto back wearing them...so I'm actually saving money.....
