I cook something with large portions once a week, and freeze half, eat the other half for a few days…. Then I have assorted freezer meals a few days a week…and cook one or two other nights if I’m bored…
For example, I’m cooking 10 pounds of chicken thighs on my smoker today, and I’ll freeze at least half…
Been there….San Diego, we were on this long mtn bike trail with lotsa drops and jumps and stuff. I was about a second behind my buddy, he flew off this big drop off, and crashed on the landing and I bailed off my bike midair to try to avoid, but ended up landing right on him…. Laughing ensued… once we figured out we were both ok.
I live in a town of ~5000 people, we recently earned our third quadriplegic from mountain biking. One was from serious big air gone wrong, one from odd ball slow speed fall when a front wheel went off a low bridge (nice and wide), and one from just losing it going down hill on a gravel road, not even a single track. Interesting sport, but I still enjoy it and try to keep a lid on it.
