This guy got some of the seclusion aspects of this nice little trip wrong, Still cool video and something that will be quite memorable.
I've done it twice in the heat of summer and the cold water was extremely delicious and relaxing. The relaxing part was the most memorable. Both times it all just melted away.......not canna influenced either! That probably would have made it even better!





Salt River tubing near Phoenix was a nice close alternative, but the Sheriff started doing stupid crap and harassing people, trying and sometimes successfully violating people's rights. They tried HARD one time with me, but they walked the 'Walk of Shame' , didn't get their crack...Driver's license ....... nor did they get to search my truck. I really didn't want to go back any more and face them possibility triggering my PTSD.

That's been around 15 years ago. The Sheriff's Department Pull the good one and got a 1983 lawsuit in which they lost pretty heavily, so I don't think it's quite that bad anymore.

It's just the audacity of them hassling people after they've had a nice mellowing experience.

Afternoon everyone... .. who's got the rollies...?........I could do with one.

I've been sorting out the dog adoption application and it's been a ruddy nightmare......I just got it ready to send and the sodding net went down......stressed...

We had a massive storm pass over last night. The thunder and lightning kept us all awake..the wind was blowing a hooligan......bit of heavy rain...but look at this...

I wanted to get Mom a cut, but she wouldn't take care of the Rose bushes in a bed I had for her right outside her front door. I even had a funnel set up that she could water either bed on the side of the front porch. It wasn't too long after that, I had to come home and take care of her.

It would have been perfect then…. It’s the hardiest plant I’ve ever seen….. once established, they need very little watering, and they grow like you wouldn’t believe…. Somebody cut that thing to the ground just before I bought the place….and by the time I closed and moved in it had grown multiple canes that were in excess of three feet long…..it was crazy, and unruly….if I had stayed I was going to build a similar structure and weave it in for a living shade canopy. I doubt you could have killed it without getting a backhoe involved…..crazy tree like roots on that thing ….
