The reason I say stay away from mars is because on top of the tariff, the dimmer switches are notorious for going out….mine worked for less than one grow….plus, they put out some heat….

I'd be looking at waiting on a refurb to get in stock then.

But if I downgrade to vivosun/offbrand tent/fan/filter I can probably stretch it to a 5x5', got plenty of space.

Afternoon #stoners.

Finally getting house cleaned out of old furniture after the separation... Cleaned out all my old grow equipment... out of date 10 year old lights n shit. I'm building a new 4'x4' dream tent list now, but trying to budget it around a grand... Was thinking AC infinity for the tent(decent poles and zippers, little cheaper than gorilla) & fans/filter system. Throw in some self watering bases, right around $500 total.

What you guys think about Migro lights these days? Falls right into my budget at about a dollar a watt.($479 for 500w)

I agree with what's said so far. HLG makes great products from what I see on here. The tent isn't as important as you think, quality is important but reflectivity is pretty on par across the board. Vivosuns are the cheapest reliable tent on the market. I like ac infinity lights, their ionframe series has way more even par distribution than their ionboard series and I think the model that fits a 4x4 is either 500 or 600. Comes with uv built in if you're interested in that spectrum, its just not controllable individually so its on as long as your lights are on.

Start with the biggest tent your lung room accommodates and build from there. I ran cheap lights at first and then saved for what I really wanted later.

FWIW I love my Tomahawk 720 had it in a 5x5 and now currently in a 4x4. If you wait or find a coupon you can get them 20-25% off or so I believe I paid 750$ for my 720 but I had a coupon code that I got from another member here that won it and wasn't using it Thank you @WildBill

Also it might be worth looking at flora flex they have a pretty big light for cheap 700 watts for 350$
