I was flipping through the channels a while back and a Spanish cooking program come on with Cooked lemon leaves....
And I'm thinking naw......

...I cannot think of any way you could cook a lemon leaf and make it edible....so I had to watch.....

....see what I was missing...
So..they went about this really complicated dough making ...double proved/risen...the nearest I could think was donut dough...filled it with cinnamon and spice...dipped the lemon leaf in and deep fried it....
Then... after all of that palaver.....they ate it by holding the leaf between their teeth and pulling the donut dough off then throwing the lemon leaf away....

I knew there was no way you could tenderise one..no matter how you cooked it...
