It's at least an order of magnitude more reliable than electronics.

With the armored cap it hits pretty hard.

For many consuming is a ritual, and the form factor fits.
Im a bit like that, always looking for cool ways to consume, thought through stuff in general. I bet you are like that too with tools or knives or whatever. A tad of autism perhaps. Most men seem to have it to a degree. I want the optimal everything.
Within pipes it's a neverending circle of me trying stuff out and ending up smoking a joint. It's a fun hobby though.

We got an inch and a quarter in the last 24 hours. 30 miles south of us got seven inches. It is much appreciated moisture but we sure could have used it a little further north where the current fires are burning. Hopefully it continues for a while.

That is what we are counting on. Even then it could overwinter in the peat bogs. They flew drones with heat sensors over the burn and said there was lots of "deep heat" which indicates it's still smoldering.

Yeah..the underground coal fires in the UK could last for years.... :headbang:... surprisingly...when you consider the annual rainfall...:pass:
