I pulled this from dutch passions website:

Polyploid cannabis and how it can be induced.

One method is to use the chemical Colchicine. This is found in the Autumn Crocus and is an anti-inflammatory used to treat Gout in humans. Colchicine can be dissolved in water and used to soak cannabis seeds to induce polyploidy. Or it can be applied to growing cannabis plants as a gel. Colchicine induces polyploidy in plant cells by preventing separation of chromosomes during cell division. The result is that half of the resulting (gamete) cells have no chromosomes and the other half have double. Inducing polyploidy is one thing. Being able to control, stabilize and use the benefits productively is another.

There’s lotsa information if you search “how to induce polyploid cannabis”

These guys have lots of information about polyploids.
And they breed triploids. Interesting cbd, cbdv, thc, thcv, and cbg strains.

One problem is poliploid don't like to produce offspring so it takes alot of time and effort to get seeds.

Good afternoon everyone :pass:

It appears that I have another diploid/polyploid plant. One branch has 4 fan leaves coming out of every node after the first 3 on it again. I didn't like how it turned out on mu mimosa last run. Hardly any real bud lots of leaf. :face:

Just defoliated again but Im wondering if fox farm is putting something in their soil. Because 2 back to back and the only thing the same is the soil came from the same bag.
She might surprise you!
I had a natural triploid Liberty Haze that I didn't think would survive.

It grew slow and in the weirdest ways but I just went with what she wanted to do and she ended up pretty big. Got 6½ oz of unusually strong weed.

Smelliest plant I've ever grown, and It doesn't smell at all like LibertyHaze)

Maybe you'll be so lucky!

I quit halfway through a pinner!

There's a way to CREATE Diploid Triploid, Quadraploid and maybe more plants by treating seed wih Colchicine...
just sayin... and the more polyploid theoretically the more cannabis compounds...
cheers!
