Made that post quick while I still had gloves on. Do plants produce immature beans without pollen?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but pollen is needed to produce seeds.

Herm plants can produce pollen and mature viable seeds, they will be female, but the resulting plants have a higher chance of being hermaphrodites. There might be a banana in there somewhere.

Or roque pollen from elsewhere could have gotten in.

One of my Strawberry Nuggets hermed and gave me 11? seeds. 7 of them look mature and I will try to grow them next year.
