In the UK they are excellent...you buy faulty..you get a refund..done...
In Spain we call it a buyer beware culture....if they can sell you dodgy stuff they will...then you've got to fight to get your money back....
There is one French multinational that is notorious for selling faulty returns. If the packaging has been opened..then resealed...you do not buy it...it is dodgy...

.. they do sell good steak though....
Must admit I've got into the Amazon habit.... I've got guaranteed consumer rights there...and you can translate into your own language to check specs etc...which can be quite overwhelming when they are not in your native tongue..
Plus...it is mainly cheaper...
