I've been looking at living organic soil building, and it's a little pricey initially(mostly for me to get quality compost). I can buy build a soil light recipe at my local(ish) hydro shop for a cheaper price unless I invest in my own compost/worms. I don't want to invest though since my manic ass might give up on organics after 6 months and switch back to hydro... Thinking of those poor worms dying in the bin...
My fall grow plan is all coming together now: Vivosun 4'x8' tent and 8" fan/filter blowing out the window, Pair of 6" pole fans in the tent, HLG 350 Diablo in the center, with four 15gallon soil pots on some kind of wicking water system for my lazy self. Maybe throw a small shelf inside to hold top dress/nutrients, and toss the dehumidifier in the tent instead of drying out the whole lung room... Just gotta save up a few more benjamins, wait for summer to end, and I'm good to go. Estimated daily electricity at 14kWh, a perfect 420kWh per month, and $33 at non summer rates.
