Made pickles yesterday between hits :rofl:

I used all of the new pickling guide lines. I have been making pickles for over 50 years now and have not killed anyone yet. I have eaten my pickles over 3 years old. I do toss them out if they get older than that but that just does not happen as most years now we run out of the one year old pickles. The new rules for fresh pack cucumbers are 8 cups water, 6 cups 5% vinegar and 1.25 cups salt. The old rules I used for so many years was 12 cups water, 6 cups 5% vinegar and 1 cup salt. Then the new rule for pasteurizing is 180°F-185°F for 30 minutes. If you go over 185°F at anytime your pickles may get mushy - Eeeeewwww.

Looked like egg salad to me! Was gonna say i can damn near smell that thing thru the screen! Hard boiled eggs smell awful to me! :yoinks::nono::rofl:
If you get rid of the sulfur smell by cooking "fresh" eggs, bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover for 13 minutes, place immediately in ice water to chill as fast as possible. This should prevent any hydrogen smell but cooked egg whites still have a distinctive aroma. That aroma is not my favorite either. I rarely eat just a hard boiled eggs, it is usually spiced up in various manners that mask the smell.

Hubby once took egg sanis on a plane for a snack........ :crying: ... never again...by the time he got the wrapping off people were gagging in the aisle...:crying:

It might be too smoky to breathe outside..........but the air in here smells heavenly. Nothing cheers a shitty mood up like the smell of freshly baked bread. Highly glutinous......arguably bad for me......but all mine just the same.......:headbang:

A failed attempt at lollipops, new leaf molds, I guess not a total fail, I still get some infused candy(maybe?)
Supposed to be Watermelon like the gummies but who knows, will try tomorrow morning. So I had great success 2 times so far
but I pushed it this time and use way too much oil, probably 3times as much as before so.,.,.,I couldn't get it all to combine
really thought I was going to end up with a huge mess of I dont know what, it wouldn't come together, kept at it and finally
but was very thick so couldn't really pour it like expected, so rushed the thick pour, hey I ended up with a few that look decent
and a bunch of pieces/chips, should of probably ended with another 6-10 pops if poured good
Anyway It did come together so there's oil in there, lots compared to last time so, hoping for some infusion :shrug:
will get better when have rosin, you use a lot less material, should combine a lot better/easier I would think.
