I think we should open up a dispensary close to the Choctaw Casino, so Texans can take the first exit and get a lil' bit of canna before they go gamble and or turn around and go home!
I'll just bet that the tribe will open one up close to their casino! I think that thing would make money hand over fist, at least until Texas legalizes it.
My buddy in El Paso tells me that there are an insane amount of dispensaries within a earshot of the border of Texas and New Mexico!

I wish this would really happen! I think it would put a lot of pressure on Texas to legalize or at least have a medical program....... A real one

I just never thought Oklahoma Would have a cannabis program of any sort!
I think a lot of that impression comes from my Bible thumping Pentecostal grandfather in law.

Old people are in pain, but don’t want to be on the medical cannabis “list”…. So they are behind rec…. And the younger generation wants it….so it might happen….
In the past, I had been glad that Texas did not have a ballot initiative, mainly due to Some of the stupidity coming out of California when I was younger .
I still feel that way about ballot initiatives with a simple majority. I would welcome ballot initiatives with a majority of 60% or greater.
I still find it amazing that politicians still get crazy about a plant that has been used medicinally for thousands and thousands of years!
Maybe some of those Bible thumpers should think a little bit!

When I had my office in Arlington and the few days of the month that I was there, I usually liked to have lunch at this place.
I most assuredly remember Fran. She was a whole lot younger, quite a few pounds less, but still extremely sweet. It's pretty decent barbecue, but I think Fran was the one that made it work.
I only took barbecue home from there one time. It was after I moved my Mom out to my farm. I only bought meat and prepared the rest of the meal at my house and brought it over to Mom. A couple of minutes into the meal, Mom asked me if this was my barbecue. I told her no and she replied nonchalantly, "Yours is much better." That was her way of kindly telling me not to bring anymore home!
