I realized i went overboard on the sour cream so i scraped a bunch off to the side! :doh::haha::rofl:

Its needed tho cuz the chili queso sauce i ordered i thought was gonna be chili con carne + queso but i now realize its queso with chili peppers in it so its got a little kick to it! :eyebrows::headbang::rofl:

Good morfnoevight all.

Not a great day but at least I don't feel worse. I pickled some pepperoncini today. Ms. MOG harvested them this morning. She claims she did not even pick half of what is out there :yoinks:

Ms. MOG fried the remaining peppers, they are very hot, much hotter than pepperoncini should be? I hope the pickled peppers are not too hot for me.

I am trying all the tricks I could find to keep the peppers crispy, Pickle Crisp, Grape Leaf and processed with pasteurization @ 180°F for 30 minutes never letting the peppers get over 185°F. This is also a different strain than I grew 2 years ago that is supposed to be thicker walled pepper. I will refrigerate a jar in a couple of days and check them out - stay tuned.
