I realized i went overboard on the sour cream so i scraped a bunch off to the side!
Its needed tho cuz the chili queso sauce i ordered i thought was gonna be chili con carne + queso but i now realize its queso with chili peppers in it so its got a little kick to it!
Not a great day but at least I don't feel worse. I pickled some pepperoncini today. Ms. MOG harvested them this morning. She claims she did not even pick half of what is out there

Ms. MOG fried the remaining peppers, they are very hot, much hotter than pepperoncini should be? I hope the pickled peppers are not too hot for me.
I am trying all the tricks I could find to keep the peppers crispy, Pickle Crisp, Grape Leaf and processed with pasteurization @ 180°F for 30 minutes never letting the peppers get over 185°F. This is also a different strain than I grew 2 years ago that is supposed to be thicker walled pepper. I will refrigerate a jar in a couple of days and check them out - stay tuned.
