I'm working on my compost. Lots of fish and eggshell. With this stench and all natural stuff I'll have hippie chicks throwing their undies in here too in no time.
My idea is as follows. Forget the chicks. The compost in the middle of a horseshoe shaped garden bed. One part will be a small greenhouse where I can start my food garden and the rest will be drugs. Drugs are the focus ok.
I'm going to continue working my compost with coffee grounds and meat and veggies. I want @WildBill s worms to sign for Portuguese visas. That's the goal. I want them lining up for ICE claiming to be illegal Portuguese gang members.

No seed oils or anything like that. I'll treat this compost like I treat my body. Like a temple. Just natural unflavored low sodium shit goes here.

Leave out the meat unless you have more than a year for the pile to sit. Grind the eggshells to dust, Keep the balance of green to brown equal (fresh vegetation to dry matter) shredded cardboard is good brown! turn a fresh pile weekly or when 160°F in the middle do not turn if less than 100°F and keep moist but not wet. If after 10 days the temperature dose not come back up you need more green or the compost has moved to the aging stage and turning once a month is good enough. Good work! because good compost requires work more than luck!
This is ageing now and will be spread in the gardens this fall. The greens from the gardens and the leaves from the trees start the cycle all over again. Ps. Ms. MOG gets all of the credit for making our compost the last few years. She is a pro at it now

Do you have any fruit/veg markets near you...?......
I started growing everything...but the price for good quality fruit and veg in the local markets knocked me off...so I grew the stuff like lemongrass and kafir limes that are not really available here...
...Our local cafe was happy to provide big quantities of coffee grounds for us...they normally throw it away......
