This is our personal superstition. Ms. MOG and I burn white sage, carried through all habitable spaces in the house to release any tethered spirits and welcome peace and prosperity to the new home. Then by the light of the first full moon after the sage burn in the house we place some salt at all four corners of the property to ward of any evil spirits and bring good luck.

I would be sick and just die if that was all of the sleep I got. I don't feel good on less than 6 hours and 8 is sweet, I can even do 10 once in a while, mostly in the middle of winter.

It really is rewarding. Perhaps naively, I believe people are inherently good.

naive or not, I believe people are good.

I also believe most people are good most of the time as individuals. I have been burned too many times to be naïve about it.
