@Frankthetank every once in a while Whole Foods gets fresh scallops in. The are too expensive but I will splurge sometimes, they are so much better than previously frozen. When we dive the Channel Islands it is easy to pick up a limit of 10 Rock Scallops, they are about four times the size of the ones in my pictures. Rock Scallops are the best sweetest scallops I have ever eaten. Sometimes they serve Diver's Scallops here but that is illegal in California and not the same species. Just a more environmentally friendly way to harvest regular commercial sea floor species in the Atlantic.

Yesterday around noon my stomach went full tilt bad and at first I thought I was going to have an IBS episode but it did not feel Like thatr was happening. So I started looking closer at what I ate: no proof but the nectarine I had for breakfast was not ripe in fact it was crispy and the pit was impossible to remove. It was quite tart but I ate it anyway thinking the fiber would be good for me. I think it was so green it made me sick. Any how I am over it today.
