That sounds interesting, given that I ultimately want one of those for cooking food.

Does it require that the flower is vacuum sealed in a bag (to avoid any pockets of air)?

When you push the bag with the flower in it under the water it basically vacuum seals itself. Just have to add a weight. I usually use a stainless spoon or butter knife in the bag
