Well, I looked at the towers surrounding me and there's more T Mobile around me than Verizon. I downloaded this app to test the signal strength and it was better than Verizon
I really had to rely on Wi-fi to make phone calls in the house.
I had the T-mobile pre-pay plan for $15 a month with 2Gb data and unlimited calls/texts. It worked good for me because I'm usually on WiFi anyway. Spectrum Cable told me I qualified for free cell service and got me to switch. They just needed a $30 credit card payment to get it started. Without my permission they started $30 a month automatic payments on my card from day one. @#)($@#*&$@#()*^ There was nothing free, but the girl who switched me over probably got a commission for lying to me. It was a pain switching my phone number to the new company and I've been too lazy to switch it back to T-mo. I did find some holes in the T-mo coverage, but it was good enough. Spectrum just raised my "free" plan to $40 a month, so I need to switch it back to T-mo.

Well hopefully I'm done with dealing with phone companies for quite a few years! I think it's been 9 1/2 years since I switched from AT&T. They absolutely had no signal here!

I absolutely abhor Crappy customer service! But the telephone companies are going to hire the cheapest that they can!
And that usually means exporting to foreign countries! That would be fine in dandy, if they actually had normal comprehension of the English language. Sometimes it gets really ridiculous trying to explain exactly what you want and they can't comprehend! It gets very tiring and frustrating trying to get your point across. Even when you explain it in simplest terms that a child should understand, it just goes nowhere!

At least the last guy got everything resolved It was extremely professional. He was Hispanic, but he understood perfectly fine. He was extremely apologetic as he was looking at what the first person had done!

So that person with the female name and questionable voice, sure must have not known its job! :face:

I was gonna do all this crap early this morning. I screwed up and watched the news. :face:

It seems that the young male Guardsman that was killed was the nephew of a guy I served with at Pearl. I watched his wife tell of how the children said bye to their father in the hospital. I'm still emotionally raw from the other BS and the sight of his wife tell the story , just tore my ass up. Both phone companies were severely stressing my limits of civility!
