Lil'Bit Still hasn't blinked at me yet. In cat language that means they acknowledge you.
Food is a pretty good motivator for taming. Once I was able to pick him up while he was eating, I could pet him for a little bit and get him to that.
He wasn't really all that keen on store bought Kitty treats, so I had to pull out the big guns!

That secret weapon is shrimp tails!

Oh he loves them!!! First few times I would just throw it to him and let him eat. Next step is just to hold out the shrimp tail and see if he will take it . I think it took three times and then he started going for it ! About the 6th or 7th tail, he began meowing for it!

He likes petting, but he really wants to get back to the food most times, after about a minute of petting. That's when I introduced something that I knew he could not resist. The cat brush! I'll hold him from underneath in my left hand with my hand grasping around his shoulders. This way he's sort of laying on my forearm and then I bring up the brush. I can feel the tension run out of him as soon as I start brushing. He just becomes a rag doll! about the 3rd or 4th stroke You can see his eyes close. He's must be really enjoying it t

Is the little small rectangular brush that has the fine wire to get down into the coat quite well. It must scratch him good !
