Here I sit, all broken hearted
Tried to order Ranger parts
But O' Reilly's only farted!​

Just wanted to do a little maintenance , so I'd have a known starting point on some things . So I signed in on my account and had to change a bunch of things. They had the old address and the old favorite store . So I changed the address and my favorite store and filled my shopping cart with stuff that I needed . At the final payment screen, it showed my local store still as the favorite as I completed the transaction.
So I waited a bit, but still did not get the notice that things were ready to come pick up. So I stopped by the local store to check things out. on the way to another place. The store manager said they haven't received any notice, by that time it's been well over an hour.
Just as I was about to leave I get a email in saying it's time to pick up the parts.
I open up the emails and.................................... It said the parts were ready in Missouri!

Although I did stay on hold for about 10 minutes, I did get ahold of lady that took care of me quite well and quickly the problem was solved. Although no Reason for the screw up was revealed.

We have seen a consistent 15 - 25% price increase on virtually all imported flooring goods. And a lot of flooring goods are not made here, because this isn't where you source the raw materials for many of these products.

So what's happening now is not only are all these contractors bidding for the same work at the lowest price, the bids themselves are being specced with the cheapest, just fucking garbage material possible, because budgets and margins still have to be met.

It's a race to the bottom.
