Look at me peas... ...last season..I just got them growing magnificent and got powdery mildew...I cut the water..applied a couple of treatments..bicarb..and milk wash...but...

When you grow them in such close contact....once one has it it is almost inevitable the rest do.....


I was moaning to me mother about it......and she said mmmmm...powdery mildew......most people think it is a disease of over watering...but you know it is a disease of under watering.................... don't you.....?.......so this season they are getting extra water...and a bicarb spray weekly as a preventative...

#FingersCrossed huh...?.... ...I see first flowers...if I get one pea pod...even if it is flat..for Xmas day... I'll take it as good luck for the season.....peas are my second favourite crop....

If you start your spray season with Garden Friendly Fungicide then alternate with your baking soda you will get the longest possible harvest season. It is really easy to apply. Sooner or later the PM will win as the environment becomes optimal for it outdoors. Just part of the life cycle.
