I've had other opiates and this one is uplifting rather than heavy.

That said, I hope it helps me sleep through the night, the reason he prescribed it.

Yes definitely lightens the mood and is uplifting, a little like good old Speed... that's the reason I prefer this opiate when I really have pain to medicate but still want to function...

Keeping the dose low is good, I can tell from experience if you take Tramadol several days in a row it can heavily hit on your stomach, that quickly ends up in sudden vomiting :/
