I used to get stopped and searched every time I went through an airport.. ..and I used to think what part of middle aged ..middle class white woman meets your search criteria....?.....

The only time I didn't get it was when we travelled with another couple and the husband looked like and was the oldest hippy in town.....me .. hubby and his wife sailed through and looked behind and they've got him stopped and they pull a film container out of his side pocket on his combats.......all 3 of us went aw..S...he wouldn't would he..?....but..he hadn't....


Last time I came back through Newcastle they were testing brand new super scanners that you don't need to separate electricals and you can carry liquids. I knew I'd get pulled into that queue.....so I got a luggage scan..a body scan..a footwear scan...and a body frisk that nearly freed me boobs from me bra....
Gawd..did that girl go for it.....bearing in mind..I deliberately don't wear underwired bras through the airport..so I don't set scanners off..and flat shoes coz they do make you take boots off.

I actually don't mind..I'd never carry owt through an airport..and the tighter security..the safer i am really......

When I fly I get cramp..so I do a magnesium spray pre airport to prevent it... magnesium shows on airport scanners as Heavy Metals...so you do normally get stopped for that....

My brother went to new york for 3 day weekend trip. He had a search and pullout because he must be a terrorist. Evidence so clear as he lost 2 fingers at the age of 17, so 25 years earlier; on the airport they made up a bomb story because longhair, 8 finger , 1+1= terrorist. What a warm welcome in a foreign country...

I had the same issue 2018 with my backpack in Palma de Mallorca on the flight back. They found traces of blackpowder. Hell yeah? I'm filmmaker and sometimes had carried fogbombs to use on set. But they made a wave.... nobody cared about leftover weedsmell though... which i was actually more worried about.

BTW..hubby says if they use sniffer dogs in the airport I'm knackered..coz I smoke so much dope it will be systematic....

A friend once smoked his pipe, wiped his hands off on his trousers, went to airport with his dad to go on holiday... then he got sniffed by a dog... his dad was not amused xD

gawd...I'm sure it was a car seat belt unit hubby was dragging over and got stopped coz there is a small detonator in them.....
