Here is a fine example of my Postal Service!

I was expecting the package to come in on Saturday, but I got a notification Friday that it came in. On the tracking info it said Delivered in the other areas such as garage or porch, etcetera. When I see that on the postal website, I know it's Easter egg hunt time!

Later in the day, I go and look out at the normal places. Absolutely no place to be found! The post office is already closed, so I can't ask where the moron put it . I searched Saturday whenever I went outside and still nothing . So I go outside with intent to look for it and Wham! it's right in the middle of my driveway come several feet inside the gate!
Absolutely no way could I have missed it in such an obvious place. Then I see the corner of the box and I'm thinking, 'Did I drive over this thing?'
No I didn't drive over it! I picked it up and here's what was on it!

Next time I'm in town, I'm stopping by to see the postmaster and see if they can prevent this from occurring again. I'm gonna show him the photo. I wanna find out if it's my regular carrier or if it was a substitute. It really doesn't matter. I think my normal mail carrier must be handicapped in some form or fashion. She absolutely cannot shut the door on my mailbox. Other than the
Extremely rare occasion where she does actually shut the door, at least I know when I have mail.

The military In me keeps screaming, Why can't you
just do your job
properly?
My first thought is, I'm glad I don't have to hire people in today's world. But realistically, I would do exactly the same thing I did before when I needed employees. They had to have high qualifications just for me to
look at their resume.
I paid top notch salaries, but they knew they had to actually
earn it! Along with that high salary came high standards! They knew those high standards before they sign the contract. They also knew the consequences for not meeting those standards.
By paying that high salary and having the high standards, Freed me from the vast majority of supervising and let me be more productive.
