We had a feral show up the first year we moved in. It took a long time to get her comfortable being in the house. She was a stone cold mouse and rabbit killer eating them.

The owners left it outside usually but not always but they are moving to Hawaii and doesn’t seem like they are taking him! He is friendly with people but fights other cats and he is way bigger than our cat so him coming inside isn’t an option! They are coming back from Hawaii end of January to finish getting their stuff but leaving him outside for 6 weeks during when our 2 cold months come in makes me think he is on his own! Need to find someone who can take him and give him a home! They have someone watching their dog and are covering all costs and even signed some contract to cover any potential vet bills that arise for the dog but cat wasn’t even left with food except neighbors that felt bad for it!
