Getting prepared for the next sample lap!

It’s actually smoke and whiskey fest so lots of craft liquor people here doing samples but i don’t drink so couple tiny sips and i couldn’t drive home so i will keep my liquor free streak intact!

I’m about to go try to bribe those people with cash or trades of my moms product for a big ass container of that mac n cheese! Shit was f-ing amazing! Super cheesy with the pulled pork and a tiny shot of bbq sauce! Top tier for sure!

I am boiling beans to make refried beans in a couple of days. I have some of my new seasoned lard to fry them with.

Got some country style pork ribs brining to grill later today.

The carob tree is probably the last pollenator of the season......and every bee in the whole area is in there..stocking up for winter.

Big ones..tiny ones..and everything in-between is in there... absolutely thousands...and you can hear the buzz from 15-20 ft away..

I think that is the same tree we have growing at the end of the block. It smells like a chub of salami to me when it is blooming so , that's what I have called it for years - The Salami tree
