That is what I love about my cat. I think its the same with any animal we share our home with...

Seeing them happy is just amazing - it transcends all the horseshit that effects our lives as people. In turn, it give us a reason to be happy as well. We are loved by another living thing that doesn't care at all about any world outside their relationship with us.

Things aren't so bad after all....
