I think I fixed my old grow light. It’s been sitting in the attic since I got my HLG. I never could run it at full power because it would flicker and do strange things. I dug it out so I could set up another tent, but I couldn’t get it to turn on. I noticed that the connector from the driver was welded shut. I dug the plastic weld out of the connector, and the light started working, but I could make it flicker by wiggling the connector. I opened it up, and the connector was burnt inside. I didn’t have a new connector, but I spliced in a new piece of wire and it’s working at full power, 660 watts!
It’s a good light it has Samsung lm301b diodes so I didn’t want to trash plus a new one is expensive
Yeah I don't even want to run it now even though I'm pretty sure it's fixed but I don't wanna spend $500+ on a new light. Running it though the paces in the open basement where I can watch it for a few hours before I put it in a tent
