It was creepy on 60 minutes sunday they had a segment about AI and they were talking about how many of these AI models have resorted to blackmail in some cases! One was luckily just a test being run with the AI running the email account for a fake company and after it saw emails from 2 fake employees about an affair the next time they scheduled a fake shutdown of the system the AI started emailing the guy from the affair not to shut it down or it would email the guys wife and tell her!
AI is/was trained by humans. What's most disturbing about this stuff is that it was absolutely predictable. It's not like this is the first time its happened.
And when you consider how these BS models are just massive amounts of random internet chatter you really have to wonder who came up with the idea of letting kids anywhere near it.
The AI bubble is going to burst soon, and I would hate to be the people that have billions invested in that nonsense.
