What kind of Dynavap are you trying to heat?

I am only going to use the thing for making food. My big concern are the wattage ratings. Most similar devices have the same rating (1,800w), and that sounds excessive for a 120v/15a circuit.

Interestingly enough, I am going to have to get a stand-alone decarb device - its not remotely safe to use the oven for that anymore here.

Remember, you won’t be running the cooktop on high very often, if ever…

That is true.

Also true is that if this were a problem it would almost certainly be in the review section. Pretty much everybody in the US that gets one of these is running it on a 120v 15a circuit.

Yeah. The oven is the more important of the two, and I imagine any 1000w microwave transformer is probably drawing the same rated wattage as this one.

My mom has one she uses for making jam when the stove is full but Frank is correct some materials don’t work on them! They don’t even heat up til u put a pot on it so if wrong material it won’t ever heat up!

No aluminum…..and the bottom has to be flat..

Almost weeks 3 of flower.

Slurricane has grown almost 15 inches in just under 18 days.

Thanks @Frankthetank Im very surprised how well they are doing, the week 3 of flower is usually where problems start developing for me. Fingers crossed
