I was always worried about that till I remember @JP1 doing it and @Mañ'O'Green said it was fine and I believe it actually does some good hopefully I’m remembering that right dabs and all
That sounds like some bro science.🤣
Canna had to do what was necessary.
For root bound nursery stock it is beneficial to loosen or even slice the roots prior to planting in the ground to help them spread out.
With your photo period late into flower I think you’ll be just fine. I definitely would not recommend this early in flower.
As far as doing this on an auto no way because any stress to that root zone could be detrimental to overall health.

I've had roots so packed into pots that I've had to hammer skewers through the roots just to get the feed into the pot. Autos. Your plants will be fine :pass:

I've also had to use bungee cords in a pinch to hold plants up :crying:

Yeah lildab said you said that before. I won't worry about it then.
If u need to use plant stakes next time get the hard plastic ones! Not as big around as the bamboo and it kinda has a not so sharp point on the end to make em easy to drive into the soil! They are more expensive but u can reuse them a bunch! And they come from like 2’ to 6’ long! Plus they have these….

Snap sideways to the poles to make like a little cage!

Good to know but honestly surprises me with an auto. Smart idea using the bungee chords.
I insert my stakes at day 14 using them to train so I’ll never have to hear that ripping sound through the roots.😱
