The old 1-1/4" tub drain had no slope, it runs level, cut into the top of the floor joists to the stack. I think shower drains are supposed to slope downward to the stack, like at least 1/8" per foot? I'm not putting in a tub, just a custom tile shower, so the new drain will be a couple of feet over. Thinking of running the new 2" drain down to the basement where the stack is PVC so I don't have to mess with the cast iron.

Ya if you have room to cut in a drain to the basement avoid cast iron is usually easier. Remember though its drain so you don't want 90s on their sides if you can avoid it. U want verticals not horizontals, tapping the stack or main on a Y . Wear a mask when you chop the lead and vacuum or sweep up what u flakes you can after each cut. Start thinking about if you want an access panel anywhere behind the shower wall too so if you ever have to change out a shower valve or something you don't have to break out the tile to get to it.

I have a Mars fce4800 and shoe horned it into my 3x3. I had to modify the tent so its actually a little less than 3x3. I can't run it higher than 75%.

I always push them until they start to droop heavy well before lights out. They are getting a DLI 85 at the tops. 1300ppfd for 18 hours.

Mines a manual, I refuse to drive anything else and they are getting harder and harder to find.

Just turn the light up til the leaves start smoking…then turn it back just a smidge!
