I’ve been noticing lately that my palate seems to be fully back to what it was, before having COVID five years ago I can taste individual ingredients in dishes again, instead of everything tasting vaguely the same. Didn’t really think it was going to come back tbh…

My dad lost his sense of smell still hasn’t gotten it back

I didn't' have CAD or a plasma cutter, so I used a chunk of scrap plywood and a hole saw.

I’ve been smelling things every day this whole time…spices mostly, but everything that had a labeled smell around the house. Sorta like your brain had to rebuild the library….

Did that yesterday…. Toasted and ground some cumin seeds in a mortar and pestle for the enchilada sauce Have you considered that the worker smells of cumin, not the other way around?
