I get the achievement of a pounder plant. I like Franks small set up for the fact of variety but it doesn't fit in my busy life. Not implying you don't have shit going on.
I thinks it's fair to say one pound is totally doable in a 2x4 with 1,2 or more plants. It comes down to how much time does one want to invest to get it? As far as autos go the 420 scrog is too much time and effort for one variety plus not happening with organic style.

This is one plant in a 20"x36"x60" tent got just over 10 zips
