These are a knockoff…. You can buy four pairs of these for the price of danners. These have been great, I walk about 120 miles a month, I’ve had em for about eight months. And they haven’t popped a stitch, and are about the same quality as my old fancy military issued ones… plus they are 65 bucks

I was just seeing that I like the price a lot better I need to see if they make a safety toe otherwise I'll just stick with danner. But I get 200$ a year boot allowance nowadays so it not a big deal

They do it to be able to scare you into a plea….which worked in my case. I was facing twelve years, but ultimately ended up with one year of probation….and an agreement in writing that I would submit to drug testing, but would be allowed to still use medical cannabis. Seemed ridiculous, but whatever. Maybe the state just liked to see my dick when I pee. Pervs.

I just remembered….

At the time I was making the joke that the state was testing to make sure I was smoking enough weed. The probation officer did not see the humor in that joke, even though I kept repeating it weekly in hopes he’d understand my wittiness. He never did though…
