You mentioned spraying SA on your flowering plants in the video...

I was researching with ChatGPT on the timings of chitosan, salicylic acid, and other defense boosters during bloom.

It said that up to mid bloom is OK but from mid bloom on, they should not be used.

The reason stated is that boosting defenses takes energy away from calyx, trichome, resin, and cannabinoid production.

This was a surprise to me as the chitosal manufacturer states bi-weekly root zone treatments up to 2 weeks before harvest.....

I use Impello Biosciences Dune - Monosilicic Acid. MSA is the readily absorbable form, and it can be used the entire life cycle. I typically give them only 2-3 MSA foliars.(Depends how they react the first time.)I use it very sparingly in the foliar drench, at about 1/2 the recommended dose per gallon. It's a very small dose, but enough to see big benefits.

Ah, I see you were talking about SILICA! I totaly agree about silica.

SALICYLIC acid sounds similar but its a completely different chemical, more closely related to aspirin.

I use mine every harvest 90% of the flower I grow gets pressed. I keep little bit of flower for the wife and friends. The wife doesn’t even smoke much flower any more just dabs

Ditto, almost all of my stash is now processed to concentrate, but I kept a nice selection of flower for vaping directly or giving to friends. Nice combination of options.

I notice a huge increase in vigor after each treatment, especialy in veg. The product I use has both chitosan and salicylic acid so it boosts defenses in 2 ways.

I am surprised he survived. That sounds like a serious horror show, especially for the adult present at the time. Although I doubt your friend enjoyed himself much.

Probably only survived because he was naturally small. I saw a blurry Polaroid of the scene and it was hard to tell you were looking at a human.

Aw gawd....got in the shower and just got my hair rinsed..and the bloody gas went off......I was fully sudded up..

I know hubby is in the living room..with the headphones on...no chance of hearing me....pfft...

So I jumped out and dried the suds off with a towel.....I hate bottled gas......,.

suds condolences, so far, I have somehow managed to avoid that. Been close a few times, but not over the cliff.
