Just wanted to say thanks! Trying to go back and document prior grows, finding out I can export my notes from this android pretty easily (Only had android for a few months was apple for 15 plus years prior). This makes this whole process easier. Now maybe I can get a format to put it all in for saving locally with pictures and notes. I would have never attempted to compile this stuff without the support from here. It will be really nice when finished to have ORGANIZED information to fall back on!

I am actually thinking it would be easiest in a power point format for local saving? Any thoughts? Need some easy way to format with pictures and words, power point seems the easiest to me. Eventually I think it would be nice to have a chart as well so I can document weekly averages or something. I need a good template for this.

I feel this. I did some research though and saw a lot of people didn't like the bowl style, said it ate buds. I bought this other style that sometimes you can find it in stock not powered with a motor for cheap. Other times not so much. The brand changes often as well but I got this particular one back in September. Can't find the 13 inch model now. It was sold by vevor, melon farm and some others, I got it from amazon. I can't directly compare the two but extremely happy with my purchase, it was only 60$ as well. Main differences I read was the screen is much smaller on this one compared to the large opening screens on the bowl types.

If you can find it for that price it's well worth it. Cut my trim time down to like 3 hours on 15 ounces last run. Where my hand trimming is usually about an hour per ounce because I am picky and slow and stoned the whole time. The amount of dry sift that I ran through my trim bin for that 150 micron screen was crazy. That could have been the cultivar nightowl SMQR is a frosty strain. I filled a small 4oz jar almost completely with dry sift emptying this thing after trimming.

Yes there's defitenely more loss to the buds with the bowl trimmer compared to manual trimming. But: idgas if there a little more loss in bud weight, when it spares hours of my time and tons of my nerves. xD

Plus: I don't throw away what lands in the bowl, it gets processed to kief/hash. And I'm lazy, trim fan leaves, seperate buds from branches, throw in the bowl, give it a few rounds, done... perfect for me

I could probably write another essay about the NQ, it's such a beautiful plant with a lot potential. Sure , it's a great coachlock strain with an oldschool taste. But:

All in all it's a medicinal strain for ME , and one of the few that ticked all the other boxes, especially the medicine effects I get from this NQ saves me from taking 5-6 different addictive pills. So that alone, big plus.

She grows into a pure magical plant everytime and is really fun watching the flowers transform especially towards the end. I like to give her 1-2weeks extra sometimes if trichome ripening isn't to my liking yet. Worth the wait.

She's a good yielder.
she don't like high humidity during end of flower, since her buds are dense and you absolutly don't want risk budrot.

Extra ventilation/airflow is also needed a lot, defoliation from time to time also helped with light penetration and airflow.
She's a bushy plant. Even more when topped.
She is easy to train and growing fast... Might need stabilization later since the nuggets can weight a lot.

Maybe dp brings the fem version back one day... But seriously until that happens you should be fine with the auto version. I 'm sorry for your loss, bro, but head up, and just reorder some new beans from a trusted seller! Don't look back, there's a tiny plant in a seed, waiting for a new Daddy to guide her through the plant's life!

So yeah, that's my thought on the NQ. Hope that helps so far.

Great info mate, now I am looking forward even more to the next grow. Absent surprises, there will be at least one NQ girl in the mix. Maybe two. I can wait if I try, I can wait if I try, really, I can do this....
