My friends New Zealand cannabis group was just taken down for "promoting the idea that cannabis can cure diseases." That was literally the reason in the screenshot. Over 30,000 members, gone.

Happened the day they announced the rescheduling.

Big pharma is going to butt fuck this industry.

Pharmaceutical companies have already had the ability to develop FDA-approved cannabis drugs, but rescheduling removes several of the primary bureaucratic and financial hurdles that have slowed clinical research under Schedule I.

The double edge here is that it opens up the ability to expand research on cannabis, but also gives these same companies that have controlled that industry (and the drugs within) the same ability to control cannabis. They didn't legalize weed, they said "hey big pharma, now you can get your paws on this too."

You guys fans of Bayer? Pfizer? Because that's who is now going to be in your weed. Guess who has more money than 99% of cannabis growers and breeders that exist today? Pharma. Wait until they enter the genetic side of things.

This wasn't a win for cannabis. This isn't a win for home growers. This isn't a win for medical patients.

We're celebrating letting the lions into the lambs pen.

Well, that's the rub. How much do you speculate before you're wrapping your own head in tin foil to block the gamma nutrino rays? You know what I mean? lol

What I do know is there are a LOT of very educated people in the cannabis space that all said "what the actual fuck" when it rescheduled, and the speculation, while speculative, seems to share the same common concerns across the board.

Trump isn't pro-cannabis. He never, ever was. He's a profiteer. He just wants the money, Lebowski.
